Family: Born on November 17, 1992 (TBC) John Mugerwa (father) and Rose Namagembe (mother).
Raised in Kyaliwajjala, Namugongo, the songstress started singing at church and school.
Education and Career: Nantongo went to Sunset Primary School in Kireka, Kireka Grammar Primary School and completed her O-Level from Kira Secondary School.
After S.4, due to financial challenges, her mother told her to study hairdressing.
While pursuing hairdressing, an associate encouraged her to register for Coca-Cola Related Next, the singing competition.
Though she didn't win, a lady identified her and connected her to Golden Band.
At Golden Band, she impressed Catherine Kusasira, then she was introduced to KT Events who introduced her to Judas, her songwriter and manager. KT Events, real name Haji Musa Kavuma, manages Golden Band.
The first song he wrote for her was Nsinka. KT bankrolled the production. Ontuka, her 2016 collaboration with Dr. Hilderman, ushered into prominence.
